Need Help With Daughters Coping With Dad's Pick's Disease

Hello Everyone:
I was so happy to discover their was support for people suffering from Picks Disease and other dyementias on the net. I have found that since my husbands diagnosis, friends have been calling less and less on us as well as his brothers and sister.

Hi,

My name is Cheryl and I have been dealing with Pick's Disease for about 11 years. My mother has it. She was a vibrant young and full of life women who was struck down with this horrible disease at around 63 years young. We didn't know what was happening and never heard of Pick's. Anyone Else Having Trouble Finding Day Programs For Loved One?

Up here in good 'Old Canada', the province of Alberta, where Wayne Gretsky the hockey player came from and Edmonton, Alberta, having the worlds largest mall (West Edmonton Mall), we have absolutely nothing for day programs for people with FTD.

My husband (age 50) seems very bored and listless. I work during the day because I'm the sole bread winner. Husband only receives $1,000 per month for disability pension. I feel very guilty when I go to work and leave him alone at home. He just...
