Forum Rules and Posting Guidelines

This is a private forum, and many of the topics discussed here are sensitive. We take the safety and confidentiality of all of our members very seriously. By joining this forum, you agree to the following:

1. You will not attempt to recruit, sell, or otherwise enter into contract with any member without express permission from the moderators.

2. You will not copy, disburse, or otherwise use the contents of this forum in any form, for any purpose, without the express permission of the individual author and the express permission of the moderators of the forum.

3. You agree that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

Breaking the three rules above will result in your immediate removal from the forum, and may also result in legal action up to the limits of the law.

The following list is posting guidelines for the forum. They are based on common sense and courtesy towards one another, and we hope that they help lend to a positive and friendly community.

1. Our common denominator is a disease, although presentations and circumstances vary widely. Please refrain from judgmental posts. Kindness and respect are our passwords.

2. As a global group, our members' beliefs – political, religious, etc – are wide ranged. Members are urged to respect this by refraining from pursuing these topics in posts, except for in the areas provided specifically for them.

3. Posts that discuss sexuality as related to FTD are requested to be non-explicit.

4. All moderators are available to be contacted about any group issue or concern. Please know that in order to maintain a healthy, honest, and open dialogue this information will be shared amongst moderators.

5. The archives will be open to all members to read. Please keep in mind that future members will be able to read your posts, even if you are no longer a member of the forum.

6. The advice offered in this group is based solely on personal experience and opinion. It is in no way meant to override professional judgements.
